This notice covers the Merchentia marketing website (merchentia.com). It is separate from our apps — each Shopify app has its own privacy policy, and our apps store no shopper personal data.

What we use

We use Google Analytics 4 (gtag.js, measurement ID G-B24787K5EK) to understand how visitors find and use the site, so we can improve it. We run it with Google Consent Mode v2: analytics and advertising storage are denied by default and are only enabled if you choose Accept on the cookie banner. Until then, no analytics or advertising cookies are set.

Cookie categories

• Essential — needed for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice. Always on; sets no tracking identifiers.
• Analytics (Google Analytics) — off until you accept. With consent, measures page views, traffic sources, approximate location (country/region from your IP, which Google anonymises), device and browser, and on-site interactions such as clicks to our Shopify App Store listings.
• Advertising — off until you accept. Reserved for future advertising and remarketing measurement (e.g. Google Ads) when we run paid campaigns. Nothing is collected for this purpose unless you accept.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email, or payment details through analytics. We only know who you are if you email us at [email protected].
